Sunny Shepherd lives and works in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at Western Kentucky University. A lifelong fascination with art, spirituality, travel, and psychology has led her toward a studio practice that draws upon her own engagement with various landscapes and the mental processes of daily life.

     She uses a variety of materials including paint, fiber, and wood to create two-dimensional works as well as installation art. Her work has been included in several juried group exhibitions. In 2018, Sunny created and presented  because, a solo exhibition on the campus of Western Kentucky University. She has received awards for her work in painting, drawing, fiber art, and printmaking. In 2019, she plans to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona to further pursue her career in the arts.
